A. General Intelligence & Reasoning

(20 Questions, 40 Marks)

This component would include questions on:

  • Analogies, similarities, and differences
  • Space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving
  • Decision-making, judgment, and visual memory
  • Critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence
  • Topics: Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy
  • Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification
  • Word Building, Coding & Decoding, Numerical Operations
  • Space Orientation, Venn Diagrams, Embedded Figures
  • Punched hole/pattern folding and unfolding
  • Critical Thinking, Emotional and Social Intelligence

B. General Awareness

(20 Questions, 40 Marks)

Questions will be aimed at testing general awareness and knowledge of:

  • Current events, history, culture, and geography
  • Economics, general policy (India & J&K), sports, and science
  • Scientific research and people in the news

C. Quantitative Aptitude

(15 Questions, 30 Marks)

Designed to test the candidate’s number sense:

  • Whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and relationships
  • Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, and Averages
  • Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business
  • Mixture and Alligation, Time and Distance, Time & Work

D. English Comprehension

(15 Questions, 30 Marks)

  • Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure
  • Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Antonyms
  • Idioms & Phrases, One-word substitution
  • Active/Passive Voice, Narration, and Sentence Shuffling
  • Passage Comprehension

E. Mathematical Abilities

(15 Questions, 30 Marks)

  • Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, and Trigonometry
  • Graphs, Linear Equations, and Surds
  • Statistics and Probability

F. Computer Proficiency

(15 Questions, 30 Marks)

  • Computer Basics: CPU, I/O devices, memory organization
  • Software: Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Networking and cyber security

Note: Parts A, B & D are of Graduation level, and Parts C, E & F are of 10th standard level.
