The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released two major recruitment notifications in September 2025:
Advertisement No. 08 of 2025 (361 Junior Assistant, Stenographer)
Advertisement No. 09 of 2025 (107 Driver Posts across UT/Divisional/District Cadres)

Driver Posts Details (Advt 09/2025)
JKSSB has notified 107 Driver vacancies distributed across different departments and cadres.
All eligible candidates must possess Matriculation and a valid driving license.
The selection process will consist of a Driving Test first. Only candidates who qualify in the driving test will be eligible to appear for the written exam.
Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Assistant, Stenographer: Graduation from a recognized university.
- Typing Speed for Junior Assistant: Minimum 35 words per minute.
- Stenographer: Typing/Shorthand skills as per notification.
- Driver: Matriculation + valid Driving License (Light/Heavy), must be domicile of J&K UT.
- Domicile: Valid Domicile Certificate required.
- Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025):
- Open Merit (OM): up to 40 years
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/ALC/IB/RBA/EWS): up to 43 years

- Click on “Apply Online” for the relevant advertisement.
- Register/Login and fill the required details.
- Upload scanned documents and pay the application fee.
- Submit your form and print a copy for future reference.
